Mrs Noreen McGinty, with her two decades of hospitality experience, welcomed us like old friends and ensured our stay felt more like home than a mere getaway. Each of the spacious rooms is impeccably furnished, featuring a cozy bay window with a plush armchair - the ideal spot to sip on morning tea while soaking in the picturesque scenery. Now, let's not overlook breakfast; while it was a delightful spread with locally sourced ingredients, we felt a tad rushed, but the breathtaking view from the dining room sure made up for it. With ample parking and free Wi-Fi, this family-run gem is just a stone's throw from Donegal town, making it a fantastic base for exploring North West Ireland's natural beauty. I left with a heart full of memories and a longing to return, especially to enjoy the charming outdoor garden seating with a cold beer in hand after a day of adventure.
